- Mane: Brush over to wrong side and comb with Hippo-King as Normal, than brush back
- Flip the mane back and shorten to desired length
- Tail: Lift the top hairs, doing 2-3 even strokes, leave the centre top hairs long.

Make sure you place the Hippo King right at the base of the neck/mane, then comb down!
Do NOT use in one area for too long - Move along and repeat!

Best device Ever!
Here to say this is the best device ever for keeping manes manageable & neat if you aren’t a showie with expert mane pulling skills. Doesn’t hurt my sensitive horse either. Wish I had bought one of these 25 years ago!
